Hi Alek, wanted to start my Etsy account as per your super helpful advise but many questions arrose in the process: 1. Can US non-residents (Im an American living in Peru) set up shops to sell in the US? I have US SSN, US bank accounts, drivers license and passport, the only thing I dont have is the IP address. Because of scammers Etsy has seemed to double down on IP & VPN differences and you cant even contact Etsy support to ask about it because only account members can access customer service. 2. How do Etsy shop owners pay taxes? 3. Do shop owners need business licenses? Could you possibly address these in another video? Would love to start my Etsy shop but dont wanna be banned before I can even begin to list products (PS, was planning to follow yout POD business model)

Yes, Etsy will Ban you ! And youll lose all and can't create other account s neither, eternally Ban. Wasted all of time and efforts. other ppl also say so, here

Can you make some videos about mistakes and also the worst shops. Like shop audits. Maybe shop has some good things but something is holding them back from getting decent sales. I like the possibilities and positive outlook. But this could help people who get Stumped or make mistakes.

I like the idea of a mug only shop but also love creating other stuff..So do you suggest multiple shops or can I feature different products and organize them in separate groups. i.e. T-Shirts, Mugs, candles, etc? My shop is a work in progress. I listed some items few years back and let them run their course but didn't put much effort making like 8 sale, none from POD. I’ve been doing this for a year and have only made around $600. Tried a wide variety of posting descriptions, mockup images, and keywords. The other thing is when someone orders they charge your account first and then after a few days you get a deposit for the sold item. So if you were able to get a ton of sales out of the blue you have to have enough money to cover that initial expense. It seems very difficult to me

Too bad Etsy can just ban you for no reason…Shopify allows you to build a real asset that you have full CONTROL over.
